Nuck and Brook are both, MDR1 normal dogs (N/N or +/+) are homozygous for the healthy gene, and can only pass on the healthy gene to their offspring. Such animals do not exhibit drug toxicity. They had one litter of puppies in Fall 2008 with 11 pups, Jack Mack's VIPs.  Brook is one of very few female smooth collies in Germany that is MDR 1 +/+.       Read more about MDR 1 in collies

One to south of France(Gypsy) , One to Switzerland ( already in the snow) Laddie, one to Holland (Pippin) and the last goes to Belgium (Skippie).

OCTOBER 2011

We have more good news 25th Oct, "Cecilia", Charity of Grace von dem Eisvogel, from  Siebengebrige Collies   had 6 puppies, 1 male and 1 female tricolour and 2 male and 2 female blue merles.

We have news this morning 12th Oct, the puppies have arrived from Nuck and Yindi.  "Marakoopa's Allira", Yindi lives at Marakoopa Smooth Collies in the Netherlands. 3 girls, 1 boy

SEPTEMBER 2011

We had a visit from Nina Zubrinic & Jakov Fuštin and Sandcastle's My Cup of Tea (Tia), Visit Tia's website. We went together to the 2011 Collie Treffen in Mannheim, Germany.   We hope Nuck and Tia have puppies in 2012 :)

AUGUST 2011

Nuck mated with, Charity of Grace von dem Eisvogel, from  Siebengebrige Collies mid-August,  "Cecilia" and Nuck had puppies together the first time in 2007 and produced the G-wurf at Siebengebrige.    Puppies are hoped for mid/late October 2011.

Nuck mated with Marakoopa's Allira, 'Yindi' on 8/9 August,   puppies are hoped for in mid-October 2011.  Yindi lives at Marakoopa Smooth Collies in the Netherlands. (ultrasound shows puppies :)

We had news this morning that Nuck & Fiona's puppies arrived!!!!!! she had 9 puppies,

February 2011

Nuck mated with Finesse Fiona vom Spreeidyll, "Fine" on 28 February.  Puppies are hoped for the end of April 2011.  She lives at Fionessa's Kurzhaarcollies.

Friedemann and Nuck get their 'Driver's License', (BHV-Hundefuehrerschein)

they have passed level 2 (stufe 2) test 29 Jan 2011 at Buch, Germany & Hahn Airport. It was a very cold day, Nuck is wearing his Horseware Ireland dog blanket :)

SEPTEMBER 2010

Nuck and Buddy went to the Collie Plausch in Mannheim, Germany 12 Sept 2010....more than 80 collies and their owners were on hand for a fun afternoon. Nuck got to meet a few of his kids,  Kiowa, Mrs. Jones, Finn, and Meggie were there and maybe a few others ? Gudrun "Jack Macks" Hartmann was also there with several of her dogs...

AUGUST 2010

Nuck and Angie had 5 puppies, one tri-color boy, two blue merle boys, and two blue merle girls.  More info. about them and photos soon from,  CollienarisBlack.  Well done Angie, it is her first litter!!!

JULY 2010

Finesse Fiona vom Spreeidyll "Fine" and family came for a visit to meet Nuck, we hope they will have puppies in 2011. She lives at Fionessa's Kurzhaarcollies.

February 20, 2009,  Brook moves to Hof Waldeck.....to live with Nuck and Buddy!

Gudrun brought Bubble and Brook to visit Hof Waldeck, and Brook now lives with us.

During the holidays we had the chance to visit with Gudrun Hartmann at Jack-Macks and spent some time with Brook and Nuck's puppies...pictured here they are about 7 weeks old...
